Cookie Policy

Last updated: 11 September 2026

Cookies and similar technologies — localStorage, sessionStorage and tracking pixels — let a website store or read information on your device. On prooflyqa.com only the Necessary category runs by default. Analytics and Marketing stay off until you allow them, in every country.

Change your choice at any time: .

How the categories work

Nothing in the Analytics or Marketing category is loaded before you allow it. Google Tag Manager, which delivers those tags, is not even downloaded until you grant one of the two categories, so no advertising or analytics tag can run beforehand. If you withdraw a category, we stop the tags and delete the first-party cookies we can reach from this site.

Necessary — always on

Keeps the site and the contact form working and remembers your cookie choice. It contains no advertising or analytics identifiers, and cannot be switched off.

NameProviderPurposeTypeExpires
proofly_consentProofly (first party) Stores your cookie choice — the categories you allowed, a timestamp, and a version number. It holds no name, email or other information about you. localStorageUntil you clear it or the policy version changes
proofly_lead_pendingProofly (first party) Set for a moment when you submit the contact form so that the confirmation page is counted once, and a page refresh is not counted again. sessionStorageValid for 3 minutes; removed after expiry is detected or the tab closes

Analytics — off until you allow it

Google Analytics 4 measures page views and successful enquiries only with Analytics consent. These cookies are not set until you allow the Analytics category. Lifetimes below were observed in a live preview on 11 September 2026 (Chrome capped them at about 400 days).

Marketing — off until you allow it

Meta Pixel measures PageView and Lead only with Marketing consent. These cookies are not set until you allow the Marketing category. The lifetime below was observed in a live preview on 11 September 2026.

Hosting and security

Hosting and security providers keep server logs as described in the Privacy Policy. The Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon has been removed.

Third-party cookies set elsewhere

If you turn Marketing on, Meta may also read cookies it has already set on your device from your use of its own services. We cannot delete those from here — you can manage them in your Meta account settings and in your browser.

Withdrawing consent

Open and turn a category off. The tags stop, and we delete the first-party cookies for that category that this site can reach; the page then reloads with the new setting. Data already sent to Google or Meta before you withdrew consent is not automatically deleted by that action — to ask about it, contact us using the details in the Privacy Policy, or use the controls Google and Meta provide.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the Necessary category may mean the site cannot remember your choice, so the banner will appear again.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of targeted advertising: the Marketing category stays off, including when you press "Accept all". Marketing cannot be enabled while this signal is active.

Changes

If we add or materially change the technologies we use, we will update this page and ask for your choice again.
